What is going on with military spending, with saving the planet? What is going on with military spending, with saving the planet? Last hundred years are state run era. There were a lot of developments, progress in science. Gorbachev, Communist party, as well as American big business, Ross Pero, all big shots, wolves, billionaires were scared. Nuclear war is a way to the global destruction. All people will die, and it will be the end of the planet. Russian Politburo vs. American Board of Directors are very small crowd: about one hundred. Lets put on hold, freeze weapons of mass destruction, and try to take power out of state to hundreds, maybe thousands rich people and business. There is sense in this thinking. On one side, millions people, scientists, workers are working for only one mission, one company called Soviet Union. On the other side, millions people, scientists, workers are working for only one mission, one company called American Military. If we divide two companies into hundreds, the knowledge, resources, and the will to kill each other will be scattered. Soviet Union broke into pieces of different states, plus its economy changed. It is no longer one system which is driven by moral and communist vision, now money is king. On American side, there are a lot of jerking by big corporations. Sears, GM, Airlines, IBM, Chase Manhattan, McDonalds, SBC Yahoo are acquiring and dividing each other. It is hard to figure out who is winning or loosing. Look at Enron, Tyco, MCI, they are kind of broke. The point is that: Don’t be fooled that US won Cold war, some people did win on each side, some people loose on each side. There are plenty of civilian casualties on each side. In short, rich people always win, poor loose by default. That’s a short history, what is going on now as far as the killing and saving the planet? It looks like the planet is full of the local conflicts, but USA, Russia are still big players. Russia is smaller, but it is closer to Europe. In media it is sometimes portrayed like US vs. UN, or US, Europe, Russia, China, Japan. There is definitely more players, and all have their own interests, but please distinguish between wolves and masses. Anyway, look at today local conflicts: Israel-Arabs, US with Iraqis, Russia with Chechens, Pakistan vs. India, Sri Lanka and Tigers, the list goes on and on. The above is just few examples, African local conflicts which nobody knows happens every day. It is not just few nations which fight with each other. Right wing terrorists blow off Oklahoma Federal Building. Latin communists vs. few latin rich families are kidnapping each other. It is sometimes, brother vs. brother war. The good thing that planet is still living, the bad thing is terrorism. Less government are often means more terrorism, clans vs. clans, and no regulations. All big shots say that they are partners in war with the terror. US, Russia, Europe governments are all say that they are partners. They are working together that New York 9-11, Madrid 3-11, suicide killing of thousands in Moscow or Beslan will never happen, but can they really protect us? Orange alert, yellow warning, green light colors sound the same for me. What will happen, it will happen. What can a regular folk do for yourself. I have no new solution, I just read in the news: Have an extra food, water, flash light, for emergency times. Pray that big shots will not screw up something and will not send our children to kill other people or be killed by resistance. Don’t hate a Muslim or somebody who differs. We all want living in peace, not in war or in jail. The weather in Saint Louis is really ugly these days: rain, clouds, blizzards. I wish it will be nice warm weather, all year, but it is not. It changes for better or worse, it is cycle. The weather is controlled by the nature or God for right now. You can gain some knowledge, but only so much, up to the certain extent. You can read weather forecast, buy warm clothes, but you can’t control weather. |
