| How do you protect a country and the world from terrorism?
I. Old fashioned way:
How it has been done? USSR 1917-1991 USA 1950-1960 USSR: 1. Have only one political party who influences people behavior a lot. 2. Those who disagree with the party leadership (Lenin, Stalin, Hrushev, Breznev) are killed, sent to prison, or exiled from the country. 3.Individuals are watched at work by their supervisors and Communist managers. KGB is gathering data on everybody through telephone tapping and wall bugs. People are encouraged to bring their own family and friends to the "justice" through KGB. 4. Individuals have no access to weapons and have little access to foreign countries. Disagree with party leadership means: 1. We need to protect from the actions of the terrorists. What goes before action? Talking, writing and thinking. Sometimes there is only thinking and actions. How to control these three things? a. Thinking The same education. There is only 1 book on every subject taught in school in a country: For example, one author for math for the 4th graders, one for the history and one for the geography. There are only one government program who regulates what to teach and how to teach children. So, everybody have approximately the same interpretation of the world and events. Minimize the number of college programs who offer degrees in liberal arts. We need fewer intellectuals who disagree on matters of the ideal economy, companies’ ethics, and people behavior. Strong punishment like death sentence and long prison sentences for those who like capitalism, religion, weird (non Soviet) clothing styles (jeans, short skirts) and anything non Soviet like music (heavy metal), sport (American Football), painting (American modernism). b. Writing and talking in public is controlled by Communist managers. USA: The same objectives and methods, but the enemy is members of the Communist party and their sympathizers. II Modern Way
First of all, money is the king, and terrorism is a threat to it. As it was on 9-11-01, it disrupts financial, aviation, shipping, travel, and other related industries. We lost money, and that's why we don't like terrorism. 1. Use the technology to screen for possible terrorists in airports and in other public places. 2. Infiltrate KKK, black panthers, rabbi Kahane followers, Chamas, Jichad, rightwing conspiracy groups, Christian fanatics, etc. Reduce their popularity by criticizing them in media or ignoring them and send in prisons their leaders like it had been done to Communists in 1950s. 3. Have a file on everybody. III The alternative way. 1. Reduce the level of wealth differences between rich and poor. Make bigger middle class. It will be no FARK or paramilitary groups in Columbia. 2. Give everybody the same rights like equal rights for job, health, and education to both Jews and Palestinians in Israel. 3. Don't kill or harass people who are different from you like in Afghanistan, Sudan, Libya, Iraq, Iran, and Cuba. Small states, wealthy individuals, and people who have nothing to loose can strike you back. 4. Make laws, which are good for the people, not for the corrupt lawyers, doctors, and accountants. Protect people from other people who are interested in their money, not in helping others. Send to prisons white color thieves. 5. Help and encourage people who have good family and community values. 6. Stabilize the economy. Hire-tire-fire philosophy in companies and the constant market changes creates too much anxiety among people. Encourage honesty and discourage niceness (fakeness and lying) at work and at home. Give something to do to everybody by reducing unemployment. 7. Have a tighter control over industries. Products should help people. Develop better public transportation and health system. |
